So a good friend of mine turned 22. And we both are currently in a love affair with the wonder that is New Who. Sooo... I made her a TARDIS cake :D

So a local store, wittily named Local Shop Awesome, sells locally made (!) clothings, art accessories, etc. I talked to the guys there and they said they wanted some Man Bags. Here's what I came up with:

Now with more bags! )
Thanks for looking :)

I like to play with beads, but hadn't ever made a ring.

It's supposed to look like a mini/fairy tiara, that can also be worn:

Here is my latest project. They look kind of lousy right now but I still have a lot of more work to do, filling gaps, adding crystals and just generally making this the radest pair of shoes on the planet.

Any suggestions? What else can I cover top to bottom with beads? I want a beady bra.

*edit*
OH! I forgot to show you the purses...

hey everyone! lately, i've been having trouble with creating. i work primarily with hemp and glass beads, but i'm tired of the same thing over and over again.
i want to incorporate guitar strings into it somehow...
if you ladies and gents could post pictures of any hemp/knotted bracelets and necklaces, and maybe instructions, i would be forever in your debt.

ok, so i want to make fabric buttons with my new button-maker.

...is there any kind of rotary cutter that will help me out?

all i can find is this one that only cuts as small as 1 7/8", and my buttons are 1 1/4":
http://www.olfa.com/CircleCuttersDetail.aspx?C=50&Id=149

will that one still work for me?
or will that little bit of extra fabric cause problems in the maker?

...or am i just over-estimating the abilities of my badge-a-minit?

Whether you're starting off a new school year or just need something cool to lug your stuff around in, this is a fun (and easy) craft on how to make your own book bag by using up Star Wars fabric, T-shirts, sheets and blankets you have around the house.

Question?

Is there anything that will clean India Ink off of stainless steel without just scratching the top layer off?

Explanation: I bought a multi pack of inks at Hobby Lobby and left them in the car all day, then had a milk jug tip over on them on the way home.  Come the find out, the containers were plastic, not glass, and cheap plastic at that.  Needless to say, thank goodness the bag didn't have a hole in it.  I got everything up to my apartment and cleaned it up as best I could, but now I have ink in all of the little nooks and cranies of my kitchen sink...

Any ideas?

I love Dawn Schiller's sculpted creatures ( www.oddfae.com ) so I thought I would try my hand at making a "Schiller-esque" pendant.
hopefully photobucket didn't blur this one )
