Also, I have a gorgeous copper necklace a friend gave to me for my birthday that has an issue. It's got a coating of a thick resin on it, and part of that dried up and chipped off. I want to replace it, but I'm not sure what to use. Any ideas?

Sewing Machine Question

For those of you that use a sewing machine, what kind do you use? I am thinking of buying a brother xl2230, xl 2600, or xl 3500. I've tried hand sewing things my entire life, and I am fed up with my lack of talent in that area. Thanks for any advice on purchasing a beginning sewing machine!
