A custom leather cat mask for a client to wear in a performance she is doing during Mardi Gras. It sparkles with a few swarovski crystals on the side eyelashes, it shimmers with iridescent paint in the ears and around the eyes, it glimmers with silver highlights on the eyelashes.....even the whiskers have bling.

It's a bit over sized (ears, lashes etc) because it is a stage piece

Hey there grrls,

I'm looking to make a mirror by collaging old comic books around the wooden frame - do you have any recommendations about how to varnish/ protect the frame? The paper is pretty thin and it'll need quite a lot of protection to be durable i think.

and just so it's not text-only, here's a little necklace that I made (excuse the artsy photo :P)

Thanks x

soo i went to micheals and got tonsssssssss of stuff. i got two sets of tools cause one had a carrying case but looked kinda shotty and the other one was mini and cute so i had to have both. i also got standard shrinky dinks, tons of charms, some beads, jump rings, clasps, chains, and markers. this is what i ended up with )

CRAPPY CRAFT TIME!
Ugh I wish this had turned out the way I wanted it too. But you all know that when you become possessed with a craft you just can't stop until it's done. That's how I am at least. So this was made from 1am-5am because I'm insomniatic.

I haven't been there for a while, since I'd been rather concerned about possibly not being able to post my wedding photos since I didn't take any of them... so I'm still pondering how I'm gonna be posting those online, but for the moment, some of my jewerly and art. Enjoy, crit and love as you will.

Jewelry, arts and randoms oh boy! )

Descriptions be at the image site, hope these all came out right, been a long while since I've worked with photobucket...

i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on making dog/cat collars from leather or faux leather?  i found a great source for faux leather, but i have never made my own collar before...  i have a good sturdy sewing machine, and that's about it.  after that, i need help!  where do i find supplies and all that jazz... thanks to everyone in advance!

true or false:

you can use plastic that's not specifically the shrinky dink brand to make shrinky dinks.

i feel like someone on here said something about using "#6 plastic containers"? where would i find those?

thanks in advance!

ETA: what prompt and insightful answers! you guys are badass, thanks so much!

I live!

 hey everyone
a while back i posted on here asking how to make a homeboy t-shirt on photoshop and now i have a little bit of time and want to actually make the shirt...im not a big fan of those iron on t-shirt transfers and so i blew the picture up really big and now im going to put the image on cardboard and then cut it out using an exacto knife and then spray paint...but that seems really time consuming so i was wondering if anyone had any solutions that could possibly make this process go faster/easier? thanks in advance!!

I'm also interested in this shrinky-dink business, and I was looking at pictures of what other people have done online. I found this one Read more... ) and wondered where to get this kind of chain because it seems like that looks best with this kind of stuff. Can you buy it at Michael's or Joanns?

found the picture at http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=195961.0 if anyone was wondering.

I made the stupid decision to make plans with my best friend instead of seeing my boyfriend before I go back to school, but I was ditched. So instead I made some necklaces. I haven't made jewelry in a while so CC is welcome =) Sorry if their large!
