Hi, all.

Some of you also know me as [livejournal.com profile] bittercat. This is my art journal, though, so I'll be posting arty stuff more often under this name. :)

I'm donating a box to a charity auction. The problem is, the bottom looked like hell.

Here's what I did with it. )

I just discovered Threadbangers on Youtube

I think they're amazing, and you should too!

(I am in no way affiliated with them, I just think they're awesome)

i'm about to embark on a project in march in which i will try to create beautiful garments out of recycled materials. i've thought of a couple ideas, like dryer sheets rubber gloves etc, but i would love to get anybody's input about what you would like to see a dress or a jacket made out of. it can also be something that is applied to an already existing garment as well....
so - ideas?

I didn't get out cards for Halloween this past go around like I really wanted to which has so many fun oppertunities. Missed Yule for making the presents themselves, so that's kinda a fair trade. But I really didn't want to miss valentine's day (though I admit they are only getting in the mail today so I could be selfish and scan them and didn't have the equipment till yesterday...). So here's to the crafts of the week.

It's in the cards )

Wishing everyone love and craftyness :)

A few of you responded in the affirmative to my offer of a tutorial for the dried flower cards, so here you go! (I just didn't want to spend the time writing one if the response was going to be "pft, why would we want to make these?!" you know?)

Hi everyone,

I'm starting an online shop based in Singapore selling handmade goods that are related to babies (but not exclusively so) For example, I'm interested in carrying/consigning items such as:

- screenprinted clothes for parents/ babies (esp tees)
- handmade toys/dolls, etc
- handmade beauty products like soaps/oils, etc

basically anything along those lines. If you have any other ideas, I'm keen to consider them too. So, if you're a crafty person or know anyone who has products the shop can carry, please contact me to let me know. Thanks.

P/S: DIY jewellers pls don't contact me. I'm not interested in jewelry at this point. Thanks.

This is a companion piece to my first shadow box game. This time around it's still Newsies, with a focus on a different part of turn of the century New York.

ETA: Now with clearer photos.
