I have a problem with crafts. I go through fazes and ideas so fast I never finish anything. My latest project, which will have probably changed in a week, is beaded rings. I saw some on Etsy and decided I would attempt them myself.

Ok.. I know people around here get really ornery about lj-cuts and pictures and everything. I've never posted here before.. I've actually never posted on livejournal before, either, I only have an account so that I can post comments here every so often. And seriously? I've been fighting with this 'cut' concept for the past half an hour and nothing is working... >.<

Anyway - someone asked to see the Noah's Ark charm I used for my pocket rosary. Yea, having Noah's Ark instead of Mary is probably sacreligious, and yea - I had a big long explanation about how much I don't want to hear "You're a bad Catholic" because frankly.. if you're gonna judge me, so are you - but keep in mind by now I'm kinda frustrated and just wanna post this so the person who asked can see it.

Hopefully I can get this all figured out so I can come back and post real projects and things.. I really do love it here. :)

Crafty Wedding Shower gift

We're invited to a wedding in a few weeks, and the shower is this weekend. The Groom Loves penguins, and the Bride is a moose nut. The invites featured a penguin and a moose.
Surprisingly, there is a real shortage of Penguin and Moose motifs in kitchenware.
I had a penguin cake pan I picked up around the holidays in anticipation. I added these for and extra touch

*The nougat is a caramel creme with dark chocolate surrounding it and white confectionery sugar stripes.
*A cherry-drop center makes the buttercream biscuit a flower of perfection.
*What's more indulgent than a butter creme marble cake layered with vanilla and chocolate?
*And last, but not least, an espresso bean tops a delicate cafe-au-lait truffle hiding a nub of dark chocolate in the middle.

i stumbled on this community a while ago and discovered info about screen printing on t-shirts complete with pictures.........i couldnt donwload the material cos i just couldnt! anyway if the lady is still out there, could you help out with your  information once more? i wouldnt mind helpful information from anyone else in this community.........................

New Fans and Fan Making Tips

I made some new fans this weekend after being inspired by the workshop. These look different than the others. One is a full fan, the others have one main big feather with other supporting feathers. What do you think?

Etsy question

Does anyone know if Etsy allows you to sell items created by another person in your store? Or can a store have more than one owner? My mom and I have our business together, and I added one of her items to my store, I am thinking about offering more of her stuff there. I have made it clear who made the item and even changed my bio around a bit to explain the arrangement. I can't see anything in Etsy's terms of use that says if this is allowed or not... so I was wondering if someone had ever had a problem with it.

Shrinky Dinks!

I made some Shrinky Dinks before and after volleyball practice, because I really don't feel like doing any school work on volleyball days. It's a terrible habit, but it yields Shrinky Dinks, and therefore it's all good.
