First pair of socks knitted by me using the magic loop method.
The yarn is made from wool spun on my drop spindle,
which was then dyed using easter egg dyes.

I finally had the perfect opportunity to use those big-ass stamps I bought last year.

I made this cupcake from a pattern I found online, and while I could have made both a bigger base and a smaller top, I decided to turn the top into...

Just two little projects I finished. No school and all, I finally had time to work on some things that I've been putting off for a while.

This started off as a regular T-shirt with the skulls and bones and hugs and kisses on it. I added the little kangaroo (is that the right word?) pocket, the sleeves, and the hood. The hood and the pocket are lined with black fabric.

This is my nerd dress. It started off as this:

And, inspired by the release of Breaking Dawn on August 2nd, I created this:

Well, that's all for now!

Ok, so Father's Day has been over for a couple of weeks. I just wanted to show you the card I made for Hubby for Father's Day. I got the idea from a Cardmaker magazine. I changed up the colours a bit. The paper that looks black is actually blue, don't know what happened when I took the picture, but you get the idea. All the tools seen on the card are some of what hubbie uses for repairs on his Western Star Truck. card here )

Hello, do you like Twilight, The Host or Harry Potter? Being the crafty person I am, I've been doing a couple of Twilight, The Host and 1-2 Harry Potter projects, and I think I'm finally done. I've taken pictures of everything and can't wait to show the world. Sooooo, under the cut are puppets, bracelets, jars, wands, dolls, a picture frame, a magic 8 ball, and more! Warning though Image Heavy! Like I'm not lying to you to be funny. This is the equivalent of the apocalypse for dial up users.

You know me as rhiannontherose, and as b_r_c, who turned into brc_gallery -- all depending on whether I'm posting my own work or responding to yours. In any case, as my family nears the end (I hope!) of a major transitional period, and I look forward to getting back to some major studio time, I'm trying to shape my enthusiasm with some actual planning, because it's really easy for me to get carried away with only the beginnings of about 100 different things at once. (None of which my toddler thinks I have time for! ;-P )

I've always gotten great feedback on my work through my postings here on LJ, so I'm turning to you once again for encouragement and guidance, as I ponder and plan my next steps. I created a poll HERE in my personal LJ...haven't gotten it onto myGalley page (relax, mods, I'm not selling directly through it, it just has photos and info.) yet. I don't want to post it here because it does ask business-related questions, though they nearly all relate to decisions about the artistic work itself. So...yeah. If you'd be so kind, I'd really appreciate if you'd go fill out my poll, and if you need a reminder of what I do, first, then you can see that in the gallery (some of it, anyway, since I don't have it all in the gallery, yet.)

Thanks muchly, and keep up the great crafting! I don't get to respond as much as read, care of my wee one, but I've been loving how diverse the work of this community has been, lately!

I decided to take a pair of my friends pants and sew felt bunnies to the back pockets :D Then I realized there was a hole in the front (and I couldn't wear them like that because it would bother me too much) so that's where the panda came in 8D

Details and Panda below cut. )
