I made some Halloween ornaments out of handcast paper using cookie cutters and I really like how they turned out, the pictures don't do them justice. The Ghosts were done with a glitter glaze and a sparkle acrylic paint then I glued on Google eyes. My favorite eyes were the ones that Lee (boyfriend) found for me (the blue eyed ghost) where there are eye lashes on the eyes. They are soooo cool! I just love these!

The tombstones were painted with acrylic paint then we looked up some true funny tombstone sayings then added them to the ornaments and sealed them. These were sooo much fun to make and I just love them! I sooo want to do some more of these!!!

So - I was rackin me brain on what exactly to make for the eyeglass case idea. I had some potholders that I had made that weren't as thick as I had liked, so I fiddled with them and wala:

I joined in on the Twilight madness, and knit up a Team Edward beanie =)

It was knit on 5mm straight needles and with worsted-weight yarn.

After a few months of chaos, I've finally been able to pick up my sewing needle again. I've made four pieces in the past few weeks - which is a good start I suppose. I tried starting a larger piece, but I just don't have the patience to stick with it. Under the cut are my completed projects - with adult language, of course.

Btw, my next project is going to be a portrait of "The Gashley Crumb Tinies".

I made this craft pumpkin display the other day. Carved it out, painted it, and glued in moss and other little halloween festivus. You can't tell here, but the tombstones light up!

I finally took some photos of the recent bags I made last weekend. This is my first time posting my stuff here, although I'm a faithful lurker and love keeping up with all the things all of you make ;-) I'm interested to know what you guys think... but be gentle on me, I only taught myself to sew in the last several months...  looky looky! )

I have a Singer model 1120. This guy:

http://www.sewingdirect.co.nz/singer/1120ix.jpg

I want to be able to use my machine to do quilting on the many unquilted quilts I have sewn recently. I googled "Singer model 1120 quilting foot" and came up with a crap ton of different kinds of feet and things.

So... what exactly is it that I'm looking for?

So I'm looking for a free motion or darning foot, but my google-fu is failing me. Halp?

Is one of these what I want? Are they the same thing?

The all metal one seems more sturdy, but costs less. Why?
