My mom found shophandmade.com the other day and I was wondering if anyone here had a shop there?  And if so, is it worth it?  It seems too good to be true, that they don't have fees and you get to set what kind of commission they take.

I hate to have to trouble you all, but I have been sitting pondering an idea. I want to make my own batty shower curtain, really, I don't want to pay $50 for one with a cool print. A bat design is pretty easy, but I have no idea how to go about getting it on there. I thought about permanent marker, but it isn't quite as permanent as it seems, I thought of some sort of glossy/plasticy paint, but it doesn't sound right, and then I thought of sewing the shapes on, but needle holes in the plastic would defeat the purpose of having the shower curtain in the first place right? I found a tutorial that said to use acrylic paint, but I can only imagine it peeling off, anyone tried it before, have any hints?

I looked back and in the memories as I remember someone posting a similar question about a shower curtain they wanted to paint the joker onto it, but I can't find it, it is probably under my nose.

i'm an avid scrapbooker!....it's so addicting, right?

anyhoo, i broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years back in june....i've since moved on and have a new fiance!...

i scrapbooked many of the road trips we took, concerts and holidays with my ex, but i would really rather forget he was in them, lol, i don't mean to sound catty.....my question is: do any of you girls have any ideas of what i can do to "erase" my ex-boyfriend from my scrapbook? ...aside from taking out his pics....

thanks,
lisa

While I was in line to pay at JoAnn Fabric today, I overheard 2 other shoppers talking and thought I'd pass it on. One said she had recently purchased an old sewing machine with no owners manual and was having trouble threading it but she had found a video on YouTube and was now sewing up a storm. I thought it was a great idea, one that I probably wouldn't have thought of in a million years.
