I finished these dolls over the weekend! They're 22 inches tall and completely hand stitched!

I will be doing a kid's autumn carnival theme this fall and I could use some game ideas!

Right now what I have is:
Plinko(thanks Price is Right)
UFO throw
Ring toss
Golf/putter
"feed the tiger"- throw something into the mouth of a tiger
fortuneteller
tic-tac-toe toss
face painting

I could use about 3 more, not too messy games.

I have a gigantic thing of buttons that I'm trying to get rid of in all different colors, shapes, and sizes. A lot of them are from the 70s and 80s. If anyone is looking for some buttons I am giving them away in bags of 20 buttons each. Yes, they are free, just let me know where to send 'em, I'm trying to get rid of them, but I feel like if I send them all to one person, they won't go to as good of a use if I send a few people a few different bags. I'd also like to see any fun projexcts you guys do with them, so let me know!
Thanks!

UPDATE:

I am pretty sure that all my buttons will be depleted by the time I get home. At this time, I may not have any left! Please feel free to still send your requests, and I will reply to the ones I receive after this message and let you know whether or not to expect them in the mail.

Additionally: I am also looking for feathers! Dyed, natural, whatever you have (just no down-stuffing, that won't help with what I am trying to do!) :) if you'd like to help a fellow crafter.

Thank you!

I know how to do a normal hem but is there any special way I should be hemming a gown?

The material is satin...and it has extra layers underneath, I don't have to hem those too right?
Is there a special kind of thread I should use?

Thanks :)

I made this crocheted guitar strap for my husband's birthday. It is crocheted out of recycled sari yarn, which you can buy here if you can't get it locally. The yarn is amazing, it's really strong but soft and has an incredible mix of colours.

It's a simple pattern, just chain five foot long (you could actually make it shorter for a bass, now he tells me) and single crochet six or seven rows, until you have the right width. I took the buckle and the ends off of an inexpensive guitar strap I bought on ebay and sewed my strap on to them. Details and a link to the tutorial are on my ravelry.

This would make a great present for the guy who won't wear the hats and scarves you keep making him;)
