I spent a long time looking up fancy covers for my Nook but I couldn't decide what one I wanted, so I made a temporary one that... well, it's been in use 6 months or so. I'm hoping to make a TARDIS cover one day, but in the meantime this works well.

So craftgrrls! we're a "super community". We're awesome and LJ has taken notice of this. The craftgrrl "home page" is going to get a design upgrade so things may start looking different around here. But, fear not parasitegirl, genericgirl, exquisitegeek and I are still in charge around here (and we have final say in the design changes), the rules haven't changed and we're definitely not going to sell out to da man. No selling means NO SELLING yo!


OK! So January's craft theme! Leave your nominations in the comments below CLOSED! and on 12/29 I will put up a poll that members can vote on. (If you don't see it you have to join the community not just watch it - keeps people from stuffing our ballot box) The poll will close on 12/31 and the winning theme will be announced 1/1! secret santa gift rec'd

Just want to thank Inna (unsure as to what your lj name is on here, sorry!) for my fantastic secret santa gift (I got it on Xmas Eve and love my fabric samples so much - can't wait to use them! (thanks for the sweet compliments, too, on my posts!) and also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my white bison and my totally awesome good luck doll - it's so very cool and I keep it above my bed on my bookcase! It is very sweet and I love that you shared that with me - I'd never heard of them before and think it's amazing (and really beautifully done, too!) My year this year has been kind of less than excellent on the family health front - so I need all the good luck I can get - thanks so very much!
