Nov. 11th, 2002 01:30 amok. so.. like 5 years ago.. in some teen magazine, there was a diy project idea where you took clear glass plates.. like the really cheap type wiht no decoration on them, and you painted or collaged things onto the back..
i was thinking about making some of these but i have a couple of questions. well all the questions really..
first off, does anyone have any idea of where i could get some of these clear glass plates for cheap?
second, i just want to basically decoupage some stuff to the back of the plate.. but what type of material do you think would be good to use? something that wouldn't yellow, and is dishwasher/microwave (i'de settle for just dishwasher) safe...
and umm.. if i use paints on it, would they have to be glass paints?
i think that's it. let me know if you have any ideas about any of this
thanks!
