I was supremely bored and feeling crafty last night, so I made this:

He's actually a brighter pink than he appears in the picture, fits in the palm of your hand, and is chock full of fleecy goodness. I made the mistake of taking him to work with me today, and now everybody wants one. My fingers are going to be so tired.

Boring text post ahoy:

Alrighty, I've been trying desperately to find a set of Loteria cards and boards, or even a book with pictures of the cards, but I'm having no luck (I don't live in the US). I know this is a long shot, because I've looked already, but does anyone know if there is a website with pictures of the all the cards and/or boards that I could print out?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Hey!

I've been watching for so long I thought I'd post something I've just finished. I'm going to a convention soon and decided I'd make myself a new faerie costume kind of Tim Burton style (My one and only God). The outfits's nearly sewn, And faerie wings are in progress but here's the first truelly fnished thing. My crown. To my suprise I've been wearing it all day and hasn't fallen off or even wobbled once. :)

Pink is the best colour! )

questions for you all-

since everybody was so wonderful answering my questions about chocolate, i have another- has anyone purchased candy molds online? any companies you can suggest? they all seem to have the same products, but i'm kind of nervous about using my credit card with some random company i've never heard of. that may be silly, since i use paypal all of the time, but i still am.

these are the companies that carry the molds i want-

i haven't named her yet. any suggestions? )

the question part is x-posted to [livejournal.com profile] hip_domestics. thanks for all your help!

I posted a pair of thick twisted wire earrings here awhile ago and there was some interest in seeing them hanging as opposed to lying flat. Well I finally got around to it.

So, I figured I'd post part of my Halloween costume. It's a "wig" made of 6 locks of fake hair on clips, two yarn ponyfalls, and a yarn pony fall band.

I kinda dig it
Sorry about the cruddy webcam pic.

Only a skirt, shirt, pair of armwarmers, pair of legwarmers, necklace, crown, and ears left to go. Why must I always make things so complicated?

so maybe its a little early but i was feeling the halloween spirit. and the christmas spirit....all at once. and just one thing can feel halloweenie and christmasy at the same time. thats right - the nightmare before christmas.

in case you cant tell thats supposed to be jacks face. and well...tape is a little wonkier than pumpkins so it isnt exact. but its still good enough for a nice halloween vibe.
