Here are some necklaces I've made in honor of spring! They all feature vintage pieces I've collected over the past couple of months that feature fun, springtime time things, like flowers and apples!

I will be sewing up a storm on Satruday and putting tags on everything, getting ready for a semi-large craft show this Sunday. Here's to hoping I sell lots!

In doing some research, I found that a way to make flavors or scents for lip balms and body products is to do oil infusions.

How to do it, and a few questions )

These are something new I have been working on, each pendant is made our of clay and hand painted, sealed then wire wrapped with wire and beads to accent each dragon. Pendants measure approximatly 2 3/4 inches tall and 1 5/8 inches with the wire wrapping, dragon goddess alone measures approximatly 2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.

If anyone wants to see a better picture of any of the dragons let me know I know they picture didn't do them justice this time :)

I've been making a bunch of jewelry lately, but I don't think I've posted any of it here yet. Most of it has a rather springy feel, wouldn't you say?
Turquoise and coral birdy earrings. These make me smile :-)

I guess I have a thing for birds... )

thanks for looking!

I'm not entirely happy with the way this turned out. For one thing, it isn't curving the way a pea pod does. I think that's because of the placement of the tag. I'm not sure I like the color of the fleece, either, but I couldn't find any spring-green-type fleece. What do you think?

I'm new to the whole stenciling thing but don't worry, this has nothing to do with a "how do i..." question. this is more a prior experience thing.

I'll be spending my summer in Qatar, and my laundry will be done by the marriott hotel there, which cleans absolutely everything on the "hothothot" setting since the water comes out hot anyway and it's cheaper than trying to cool it (it is the desert). So I'm looking for those who have had their self-made stenciled shirts washed on something besides cold and delicate. I can't hand=wash them bc it's a five or so minute walk to the bathroom and the sinks are tiny. Can my stuff survive? I mean sure it's just paint on a cheap hanes boy's undershirt, but I'd like to preserve my efforts if at all possible. I'm just wondering if y'all think they can make it through the summer.
Thanks for any input!

Hi! I found this place a while ago and have just been quietly browsing. I'm loving the stuff that has been posted here and thought it was finally time to share some pics of things thst I have done. I've recently got into beaded jewellery so my stuff isn't too perfect looking. I also cross stitch every spare second of the day!

Some of my jewellery )

And here's my latest cross stitch that I'm in the middle of Tiger Pool )
