See not everything I make is political!

I <3 bats, so I made a bat wallet.

More animals to come! (including an owl, and maybe a penguin! and more! I'm also gonna make a little matching pouch to go with this for coins and such.)

So...a little bit of this isn't recent - it's just that I'm finally posting it.

Jewelry, blanket, and stencils! )

okay, i feel really stupid but i can't figure out how to thread this machine propely.
i just got it today and it doesn't have a legit instruction booklet.
i've googled and everything.
its by Precision Sewing Machine Distributors ???
i have it threaded but it looks like the tension is messed up so one sides good while the other seems too tight.
but i think it's how i threaded it.
i'm not sure how it goes around the tension dial.
can someone help me?
does anybody have a picture of an older machine threaded?

My boyfriend and I are going to be seperated for the rest of the summer, so I wanted to make him a little plushie to sleep with.I have made a plushie/pillow thing once a LONG time ago, and I think I can conceptualize the basics, I'm just proposing my idea for some advice and looking for tips.

If this is terribly annoying, please feel free to delete.

I'm thinking of a little ninja-plush (my boyfriend is a ninja, while I'm a pirate...you know how it is.)

Thank you very much for any advice you can give me. :D

Has anyone ever made fake elven ears? I've done some googling but everything i found was on the veryveryvery difficult side.

So, I made myself a shirt this week. I pretty much made up the pattern, and now my coworker wants me to make her one. I told her I would, though she's considerably smaller than I am. Does anyone have any ideas for scaling my pattern down? It's an empire-waisted tank top, and the bottom part is pretty much just made up to fit waist/hip measurements, but the top part is what I'm worried about.

Thanks :) I've been sewing like a fiend (this week I've made a shirt and 2 skirts, plus I've made 3 dresses and another shirt this summer) so I'll post pictures sometime soon because I'm actually pretty proud of how they've come out.

So I'm moving to Tennessee next week, and my at-work-mom wanted me to make her a necklace before I leave. So this is what I came up with. It's pretty simple. I just used things I had lying around.

The chain is siver
The beads are glass
And the wire i used to hook the beads to the wire is steel
(I would have gone out and bought silver wire, but like I said, I'm moving, so my funds are low)

The toggle is just steel i think. Sorry for the blurriness of this picture. I have yet to master macro shooting.

Hey! I'm Kimmy and I'm new to this community & I think it's fabulous. Such a creative bunch of people!
Scrapbooking is my current art form, but I've dabbled in other arts.

Back in college I got so mad at this guy that I bent a fork at dinner (not with my mind LOL) and it looked pretty, so I started stealing silverware from the dinning hall and experimenting on it. I made a series of bent silverware. A few months ago I found the collection and asked a friend to drill holes in it for me. So he did and a few nights ago when one of my windchimes outside lost a piece I brought it inside ot fix it and remembered my silverware. So I removed most of the orginal windchime bits and tied my silverware on.

This seemed like a place that would appreciate my weird silverware art. : )

Thx for looking! :D

This is my first post to this community. This picture is from a couple of months ago. I learned how to crochet a couple of months ago and I was making a lot of flowers to try to learn how to do flowers. At the same time I was taking up knitting again. I can now knit much more complicated projects (which I will post), but I like this hat even though it is a bit wacky. I also knitted a striped scarf with tassels that is the same color.

Okay, Bone Handle Clutch version 2.1. This is much larger than the original clutch design. An average size for a purse/bag. "Average" just means I'm too lazy to find my measuring tape to get its exact measurements.

Note: There are 8 images total, with a bit of text, so I'm linking to the original post in my crochet journal.

So, here it is. Let me point out that the bottom right side of the bag (which is it's actual left) is not mishapen. It's the angle the bag is being held. :)

So my mother is giving my a very ugly blue painted coffee table for my apartment and I wanted to do something with it So I've decided to paint the table green or black and stencil onto it. What paint should I use and how do I go about doing such things?

Also, I need some Peter Pan Stencils if anyone knows of any.

ALSO: I'm about half way done with the DS case and it looks ok, espcially since I've never sewn anything before.

Ok, I was really motivated, and made the owl one. Most of you saw the bat that I made yesterday... now here's the owl!!!

This one is already reserved for someone. I plan on making a gray one as well.

I apologize if I haven't answered all the questions on the my last post with the bat wallet, I was too excited to get this one started! I promise I'll get to them tomorrow! For those that have been making requests for me to make them, I'll gladly do it! I'll respond with the details as soon as I can.

Also does anyone want a butterfly? or an elephant? because I want to make those eventually, too. Hhaha I'm getting way to ahead of myself!! I'll probably make an etsy.com account soon enough and just sell stuff from there.

Thanks for viewing!!

Soooo... my best friend was in a wedding a while back, and being that she is "not crafty or creative", she convinced me to take on her duty of getting the bridal shower invites.
