I made this purse last night out of a huge Lacoste polo that my dad bought off e-Bay and that didn't end up fitting.

I'm sure people are always looking for uses for AOL CDs and other unusable CDRs, so here's a great one I found on my friends list. Woo!

[identity profile] tart.livejournal.com
Hello. :) I joined this community a while back but never really posted. Anyway, I cut up an old pair of pants that I had and sewed (hm, that word doesn't look right) on some beads and lace and voila, I have myself a new bag!

What Good Is Hookin' If You Ain't Lookin...
at my bags, not my tits, slut.

I made bags. And was smart enough to omit the pricing this time!! You crafty ladies can't get rid of me! HA!

You're too cool for school and everyone should know it. Risk getting expelled your senior year and pick up one of these sassy sluts to ride the bus with you every day. Her hair is pink (and sparkly), but she is way cooler than the really butch pop star Pink I wouldn't lie. The bag reads: Too cool for school.

Bitch, you thought the Bang'n Pink Holdup Number was tough, check out this really un-stupid sequel. I call this, the "Reverse Bang'n Minus The 'Bang' Holdup Number 2." You can just call it "hot as fuck." I am satisfied either way.

Has anyone ever tried painting kind of fluffy or felt-like material with fabric paint? I've got a pair of slippers that need some drastic tweaking and I don't want to wreak them but I do want a design on the front. So does the fabric absorb too much paint or does in not get into between all the little hairs and look crappy? Should I stick to sewing things on or just go ahead and paint them?

I'm planning on decorating my room.
I dont have anything really set in mind, but I was thinking maybe I'd have a Moroccan(dont know how to spell that) or Indian type theme.
So does anyone have any sites or ideas that would help me out? (they dont have the have those themes)

thanks in advance.

I just covered my lightswitch to match my curtains. I had left over fabric and it was super easy. Took me like 30 minutes. I just used tape on the back so if i want, I can change it.

I made this coin purse the other day when I was bored. There's nothing really fancy about it, but I thought I'd share.

okay...so this was a big old camo jacket that i bought from academy a looooong time ago...when it was a trend to wear them...yeah, i know...it was so stupid...i hung out with "head bangers"...because my friend's sister hung out w/ them...and i just wanted to be with my friend...okay, enough with the talking...

well i just made it smaller...so instead of it became one of those long jacket things...it's pretty cool, but i don't think you can tell in the pictures...

oh...my inspiration was this fashion magazine with this camo coat...it was muy cool...

can you see me??? )

Jean Bag

I also made a bag out of an old pair of jeans (size 15) -- pretty large booty, so it works as a gym bag :)

So... I was playing with Shrinky dink plastic, just to test and experiment before I try making something for hair pins. And I made this bracelet! I had such fun and it turned out so easy...

Check out my bracelet! )

Hope you enjoy! :o)

Okay, So I have been slacking off in my summer work for AP World History, and I have not done much. I just realized that I don't have a notebook for taking notes, and so i'm procrastinating even more until I can get one. The thing is I want to decorate it, it will be just a plain mead composition notebook with the black and white speckles and I have no idea what to do with it. It needs to be durable to survive a year in my backpack. Any Ideas? I would also like to put the words "AP World History" across the front, so if you know how I could do that, it would be appreciated.

My boyfriend recently found a scooter in the garbage near his apartment (a more old-fashioned version of the new-ish fold up scooters.) It was red but I am in the midst of repainting it robins egg blue for his niece. (I'm also going paint her name on the footboard...yea!)

Anyhow--here's my problem: I was so anxious to paint that (against my better judgment) started spray painting during a rain storm and now the scooter will never dry and looks smudgy. How do I remove the spray paint I've already sprayed? Does anyone have any prep tips for when I attempt this craft in dry weather?

Spanks in advance.

i don't like posting my crafts, because i worry someone will rip me off. is that vain?

I comment more than I post things that I make, so I thought I'd share this... It's a necklace made out of cut plastic in the shape of a bat. I also did a bunch of 80s inspired earrings tonight that I may post later.
